There is magic all around us. We just have to know how to find it.
The magic is simply noticing your surroundings and letting yourself feel the gratitude for the life in front of you.
Notice the way your houseplant is leaning towards the light always looking for life, or watch your dog’s belly go up and down as she cuddles next to you for warmth and companionship, or even take notice of the bubbles in the dishwater as your washing and remember the joy of blowing bubbles.

The keyword is noticing.
At first, you may have to be quite intentional, especially if you’re in a difficult period in life. Noticing the magic does not diminish hurt or overwhelm, but it does bring in a glimpse of the good in the world which hopefully can bring some comfort.
Take a minute today and just become aware of all your surroundings and notice what glimpses of joy jump out at you. I promise you will see the magic of the everyday.
